Namaz (Salah) Reminder — Google Calendar Add-on

Summary

We built Namaz Reminder to manage Salah events in your own Google account. We don’t run servers, we don’t collect analytics, and we don’t sell or share your data.

Data We Access

• Google Calendar data (secondary calendar only): create, update, and delete events in a calendar named “Prayer Times.” We do not read or modify your primary or other calendars.
• User-provided location: you set your location (e.g., city or coordinates), which is used to calculate prayer times.

Data Storage & Retention

We do not use external storage. Settings (like your location) are stored via Google Apps Script User Properties tied to your Google account. Salah events exist only in your “Prayer Times” calendar. Deleting the add-on and the calendar removes the data.

Data Sharing

We do not share, sell, or transfer your data to any third parties.

Security

The add-on runs within Google’s Apps Script environment and uses Google’s authentication. We request only the scopes needed to create/update events in the secondary calendar and store your settings.

Revoking Access / Deleting Data

• Uninstall the add-on from Google Calendar Add-ons.
• Delete the “Prayer Times” calendar to remove all events.
• (Optional) Remove script property data via Apps Script → Project Settings → Script properties (advanced users).

Compliance

We adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy (Limited Use). We do not use your data for advertising.

Children’s Privacy

The add-on is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child provided settings without consent, uninstall and delete the “Prayer Times” calendar.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. We will update the effective date above.
